It has been nearly ten years since the Fort Adams Trust took a comprehensive look at long term preservation and use strategies for the Fort. With knowledge and experience gained by restoration projects and increased programming at the Fort since then, the Trust decided that it was time to take another look.

Federal and State grants have allowed the hiring of a multi-disciplinary consultant team for the Schematic Master Plan project that will focus on ways to increase public use and access of the Fort as part of the state park.
